MILLEN, Ga. — Jenkins County Medical Center is proud to announce that Aspire by JCMC, a new outpatient adult mental health clinic dedicated to improving the mental and emotional well-being of adults through compassionate, personalized care, opened Nov. 3, 2025. The clinic is located inside JCMC’s Outpatient Therapy Building at 931 East Winthrope Ave. in Millen.

Aspire by JCMC provides support for a wide range of behavioral and mental health needs, with a special focus on memory care and the early signs of dementia. The clinic serves adults 18 and older who may be experiencing dementia, depression, anxiety, cognitive changes, phobias, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, or other related conditions that affect mood, memory or behavior. Services include cognitive screenings and assessments, ongoing patient visits, education and resources for families, and convenient telehealth options.

The clinic also ensures continuity of care for patients leaving JCMC’s inpatient Behavioral Health Program who would like to continue seeing providers on an outpatient basis, helping them maintain progress and receive consistent support after hospitalization.

The clinic is led by Jaymal Ratilal Patel, M.D., a dual board-certified psychiatrist and internist with more than 20 years of experience in clinical care, leadership and academic instruction. Kylie Floyd, PMHNP-BC, a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, joins Dr. Patel in providing care for patients and families throughout the community. She has spent several years treating patients in JCMC’s Behavioral Health Program and brings a strong commitment to improving access to mental health services in rural communities.

“The opening of Aspire by JCMC marks an important milestone for our community,” said Andrea Graham, CEO of Jenkins County Medical Center. “We are fortunate to have this team of highly skilled and compassionate providers leading the way. Aspire brings much-needed access to behavioral and memory care services right here at home.”

“At Aspire by JCMC, our goal is to support patients and their families through every stage of memory and mental health challenges,” said Dr. Patel. “By combining medical expertise with compassion and education, we aim to help individuals maintain independence, improve quality of life and find clarity through early intervention.”

“It’s truly rewarding to help patients and families better understand what they’re experiencing and know they’re not alone,” said Kylie Floyd, PMHNP-BC. “Aspire by JCMC gives our community a place where people can find guidance, comfort and hope close to home.”
